Understanding Laura

I am a crunchy oddball with too many ideas and too little time. Do you get me now?

From Kellie

"Thank you for having Delia in your belly and letting her come out of your birth canal. I like that she came to live with us."

"When I grow up I'm going to be married and have kids." (How many boys and how many girls will you have?) "Five boys, and three girls."

"Grandpa can never come to our house again. I broke his elf and he will be SO SAD."

"I love you so much Mommy. My belly is full of love."

"Fishies don't like people to hug them. They can't breathe. When I was a fish, I used to breathe water. People don't breathe water. But people like hugs."

"I drew this man. He is SO SAD. And this is a woman. I know she has man hair, but she is a woman."

"Mom, I wrote an 'e' and it's swirly."

"I wrote 'mtie' - what does that spell?"

"I'm writing a letter to Santa. I gotta know why I didn't see him on Christmas."

The little squiggles to the right of each person is
what Kellie says made them happy or sad or grumpy.

Letter to Santa

Woman with "man hair"
The scan didn't show up as well as the others.
She does have pupils and she is smiling.
